Critical Thinking and Reflection 

Recently I came across a co-nurse who was agitated, started screaming and being rude to some of the newer nurses. She is frustrated because she felt as though other nurses are not doing their part. I intervened and told the new nurses to please proceed doing the initial assessment for patient, after they left, I spoke to the nurse. I am generally a non confrontation person, but I noticed that standing up against unfair treatment and for other. I noticed this change in myself because of increased awareness of " nurse eat their young". often nurses feel helpless, but through education it empowers nurses to speak up and take action.
